WHAT
An annual social event for Austin’s civic-minded young professionals, benefitting Literacy First. Join us in downtown Austin for a night of food, drinks, raffle and auction prizes, live music by FOXI MOXI and more! Check out the fun from last year’s event! View the 2018 Facebook album here.

WHY
When children begin school without a strong foundation, they are likely to fall behind. By providing daily, one-to-one tutoring from highly trained tutors, Literacy First makes sure that children in low-income communities read well by third grade, so they are prepared to unlock their potential for the rest of their lives. Since 1994, Literacy First has given over 20,000 children in Central Texas a chance for success both in school and in life.
