Senior Academic Program Coordinator

The Senior Academic Program Coordinator for the Literacy First Early Literacy Intervention Program is responsible for implementation of the K-2nd grade reading intervention program that engages paraprofessional (District Capacity Building/AmeriCorps) literacy tutors in under-served schools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, prepare and present at initial and on-going trainings for Literacy First tutors.
  • Support, coach and provide consultation to partner LEAs/Organizations and assigned partner Lead Coaches to ensure program fidelity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of students served by program.
  • Support Literacy First tutors’ professional development throughout the year.
