Every child, regardless of circumstance, has the right to discover their potential. And a fundamental key to finding that potential is that they learn to read so they can read to learn. We make sure that children are prepared to unlock their potential for the rest of their lives.
Our tutors teach students the reading skills needed to realize their potential and help close the opportunity gap. They come from all over the U.S. and from right here in our community to dedicate at least a year to help growing readers transform the trajectory of their lives. The experiences they have transform their lives, too.
Our alumni go on to improve communities around the world. Whether they become educators, lawyers, doctors, or engineers, they bring with them the leadership they learned through their service. They’ve all learned the power of one.
