We fulfill our mission by offering a variety of support services, with a particular focus on achieving racially equitable outcomes for growing readers, including one-to-one literacy interventions, teacher and staff training, instructional coaching, data-centered advising, and bilingual and culturally sustaining reading resources and interventions.

Literacy First is a homegrown program based in Austin, Texas that directly responds to disparities in childhood literacy due to poverty. We provide intensive, effective tutoring to growing readers in underserved communities. To address the needs of our students, each of our campuses has at least one bilingual tutor.
